Finalists for the Australian Lending Awards have been revealed today as the lending industry gears up for the premier awards event of 2012.
A joint initiative of The Adviser and research firm RFi, the Australian Lending Awards are the benchmark for success, leadership, innovation and product development across the competitive mortgage lending sector.
Of the hundreds of nominations, the field has now been narrowed down to the leading lenders, innovators and personalities across the retail, wholesale and third party channels.

The annual Australian Lending Awards, partnered by Genworth Financial, will be held on the evening of 23rd February 2012 at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth following the Australian Mortgage Conference.
In addition to the 12 awards categories from the 2011 event, two new awards have been added to the 2012 agenda, reflecting the evolution of the mortgage landscape.
According to The Adviser's publisher Jim Hall, the quality of submissions for the Australian Lending Awards highlighted an industry focused on professionalism and a passion for development.
"The quality of submissions that we have received has been outstanding. It has been exceptionally difficult to thin the field down to four or five finalists in each category," he said.
"The opinions of over 6,000 consumers and 500 brokers plus a comprehensive judging panel will determine who the eventual winner is in each category, making the Australian Lending Awards the most comprehensive and independent in the industry."
